Sorry, Patrick, but I have a hard time with your position that the word loon is
as "well outside the scope of the supposed civil discourse" as the only other
action take under this clause, which was against the word horsesh*tters.

To even equate the two in this context is amusing.   I was being very
restrained, by the way.

That said, however, I've already made my position and response known to Howard.
And I told him to bounce me  :)  But not because I think the complaint has
merit, because I don't.   However, I will say this, Baptista had better walk a
very fine line from this point on.  Anything even remotely a slight said on
this list by him will result in a complaint if this is the level of complaint
you and the others think is serious.  And then that will create the endless
rounds of him and JW "defending" Joe's position.  

So if that's what level you want the rules to apply to, a level it really
shouldn't, then thats exactly what you'll get.
