[ga-abuse] ongoing abusive postings by William Walsh



Yes. 
Both posts of  today were an abuse of the list. The first one that started
the thread, actually more harmful than the second. (quoting from another
list, twisting the meaning of what was said and attempting to discredit a
GA member by saying something that is factually untrue, thereby forcing a
response)

Abuse does not necessary mean uncivil discourse. 
An intelligent operator can be perfectly civil, yet abusive to another
listmember by constantly distorting the truth.

When such abuse goes on and on, it is up to the moderator to stop it.

This means that for fair moderation, the moderator has to delve into the
underlying facts.
Simply being "neutral" is not enough. It empowers abusers.
