2001/06/11 DNSO Names Council Whois Survey. The ICANN Domain Names
Supporting Organization (DNSO) is conducting a study of the Internet
domain-name system's Whois system, which provides information about
registrations of domain names. The DNSO invites you to participate by
filling out a survey posted on the ICANN website. The comment period is open
NOW until 31 July 2001.


On 26 June 2002, the WHOIS Task Force submitted its final report to
the Names Council at the Bucharest meeting

The Task Force Final Report is open for 4 weeks for public comments,
starting today 17 July 2002, ending 14 August  2002.
