I will second that proposal.  In the event the NC chair can not make such a proposal, I hereby make it.

Subject: [council] Names Council response to the Case for Reform

To the Structure task force

At its March 12 meeting in Ghana, the Names Council opted to discuss its response to the paper "Case for Reform", as a body. Accordingly a series of special NC meetings have been scheduled to allow for such a response before the requested deadline of May 15.

The current work of the TF (on At-Large) was sent as work in progress to the ICANN Board in advance of the Board's March 14 resolution on At-Large. A copy is attached.

In view of the above I propose that the work of the Structure TF be suspended until May 15. At that time the suspension will be reviewed and a further decision taken on the way the NC addresses outstanding structural issues.

Philip
NC Chair
