RE: [council] NC Chair Election


While I can appreciate that, I felt from the comments I received that
further discussion was desired.  Nevertheless, the current rules state a 6
month term so whoever is elected on the 14th will have a 6 month term.  If
we decide that the rules should be changed, we can simply apply them
prospectively.

It could be difficult to manage for the person who is nominated, because 
she/he won't know when to allocate enough time to this 
chairmanship(chairpersonship?), now or after six months.
