Yes, and also the names of the supporters are published so it
is harder to conceal the impersonation.

But let's get real, do you think it is very likely that someone
running for the board of ICANN will need to fake endorsements
in order to be accepted as a candidate? I am not saying it can't happen,
but it wouldn't be high in my list of things to worry about.
