Watching the extreme polarization of opposing camps in the GA over the last
few days, and especially through the latest Verisign deal, I think some more
formality in the process of obtaining policy input into important matters
should be considered.

It is becoming even more apparent during this time when actual individual
Stakeholders are on the verge of obtaining a real voice in ICANN that the
problems to date have been caused by a lack of counter balance to the
positions very well advanced by Mssrs, Crocker, Crispin, Alvestrand and
Walsh.

Due process is the best safegaurd against a vocal and powerful minority
determining what is best for the more silent majority.

Sincerely,
