The financial barrier is an interesting one.  It is something the WG-Review
should focus on also.  I find it interesting that a body that effectively works
for another is made to pay for the right to contribute effort.  I also consider
focusing on the issue may be detrimental, however, as money makes the world go
round for some it is an issue that will need to be tackled.  I would like to see
some alternative financing suggestions being made for both the DNSO and ICANN.
Unless alternatives are explored we may well end up with some very large
financial barriers being implemented.

Agree with the majority of Joop's responses and the point he made about any
criteria being applied to existing constituencies.

I would add that applying criteria to limit participation is in direct
contradiction to the aims and stated policies of ICANN.
