[wg-review] RE: MITF

Last Friday I contacted Andrew McLaughlin, the
person slated as the contact for the @Large
Membership Implementation Task Force (MITF)
http://www.icann.org/committees/at-large/index.html,
below are the three emails that went back and for
the between us (starting from the bottom).
Suffice to say, that there are no records of any
of the MITF activities, plans, or results. Also
please note that on the ICANN MITF webpage quoted,
there is no mention of a finish date for MITF
activities, but they are no longer functioning...
Actually, I wonder if they ever were?!

Now does all this sound familiar? I think I'm
beginning to understand why ICANN relies so
heavily on volunteerism... for volunteer
scapegoats. I am not suprised by anything at this
point. Starting next week (Monday, Feb 26), I
will begin posting firetalk meeting times at
worldatlarge.org The @Large can begin to forge
its own position papers and make recommendations
outside the ICANN and the heretofore lame excuses
for no evidence of results, process, procedures,
or evidence of activities.

Sincerely,

Sotiris Sotiropoulos

Nope. They worked very informally, in task
groups, and by mailing list.
Perhaps you should ask the various task group
chairs. They were volunteers
who generously gave their time to the effort.
