RE: [wg-review] [TELECON] Disappointment.


One of the topics of the teleconference is removing its ad hoc nature and
getting some long-term planning involved. Ad hoc conferences, with direct
dial-ins, are probably the single most expensive means to do this sort of
thing.

One approach is to use www.dialpad.com, for ppl outside the US, to call into
a US based conference carrier. However, that sort of approach needs planning
and a regular procedure needs to be set up. This is being considered as a
ways& means discussion, under the OUTREACH agenda topic. It is only one
possible approach, among many. I defer to that forthcoming discussion.
