Re: [wg-review] SME constituency?

Dear Philip,
As you know we are 4 SMEs as such at BC. I told in november I wanted
to enact the SMC CC. I contacted them and got one response. We said
we would try to gather a few more in joining the DNSO/BC. We will try and
I may need a small help (like one page on the BC site were to explain what
we can do).

But:

1. that does not account for all businesses and private; the Membershiio
is truely reduced, but still equal to 10 domain names....

2. I am ready to rise Individual Domain Name issues there. But
     - I feel alone
     - when I did I was not responded
     - my partners in BC are Disney, ATT, etc... I am not sure that the
same person may report for them and for me (one person, one
consulting corp and one investing corp).

Let be clear. Every Domain Name Holder is interested in the DNSO
exactly for the same reasons as the BoD: a source of informations
and opportunity review (with a possible participation in one or several
debates over global issues they are interested in.

So rules look very simple:

- if you onw a DN you may join the ML
- if you are interested in a subject you can join (non-com may have
TM problems, and ccTLDs are businesses too)
- if you are qualified you may help in sharing
- if you have a position on a suject you may have a link to it and
reports proceed from progressive harmnization (consensus) of
   these positions.
- the Chairs of Stable, mutually accepted CI's form an NC who
elects one of them to the BoD evey year.
- some CI may require or benefit from specialized structures
like BC which will participate in tyeir debates.

Please tell me where I am wrong?
