Thanks Peter, I'm glad you liked the idea.  Perhaps it could be an annual, or bi-annual, or quadrennial membership fee... the Members could be presented 
with options to be voted upon and they can decide as a body.  One member, one vote is ultimately the fairest way to decide such issues in the largest 
constituency of all.

Well, unless the money were collected, we could not exactly pay up front or even during... But, we are the ICANN @Large Membership.  ICANN should 
be willing to assist it's own @Large... any loans from other groups will also be appreciated (we're here to foster consensus right?), and will also be payed 
back when the @Large has some money and room to maneuver.
