Is this list going on the www.dnso.org website? Mailbox is filling- hard to
keep track of threads.

Has everyone read the ICANN Name.Space charter? This is a must read for
anybody who has not read it. The first few lines are priceless. Venerable
List Members, please understand that I am merely posting this as a public
service to other ICANN At Large Members who happen to be on this List and
are trying to catch up with much of what is at stake in the issue of
governance for the Internet [emphasis added].

believing. The man was/is a Saint.

I feel the need for an archivist historian (a.k.a. saint/angel) to come
forward and take on putting the most important parts of all threads plus
background documents, site references, and submitted historical notes on
the web. The site needs to be user friendly and oriented to the newbees and
those who are just struggling to keep up. I hear that concerning the volume
of input coming into the wg that we have not nothing yet. I would suggest
that if a site is established that correspondence concerning that site be
sent only to the keeper of that site who can post comments received there.
He can act on advice at her discretion. Otherwise, the archiving effort
would paradoxically add to the incoming mail to this wg.

Unless we have a volunteer, discussion of this proposal is unproductive. If
someone offers to do it, then I make this a motion pending seconds. I
suppose that some act of consensus confirmation will be needed when the
angel volunteers. Hopefully we can dispatch that quickly. Once confirmed,
the archivist should be considered empowered to do her job. Suggestions,
comments and criticisms of his efforts should be directed there for posting
there at archivist discretion.

Best regards,
Ralph a.k.a. grumpy
