So, where exactly do Vint Cerf and the rest of the ICANN board fall here 
since they did formally recognize the need to discuss further the .web 
registry and its second level registrants?  Or, are they not part of the 
technical community you are referring to?  Would it not be more advantageous 
for this WG to provide recommendations to  to the ICANN Board on how it 
should look to proceed on this issue instead of just dismissing it?
