[wg-review] Review WG's Path from Dec. 19 - Jan 15

Hello Members,

There are some issues WG should mull over before Jan 15.
It would be appreciated to listen to your views on the issues.

Dec. 19 - 22 : Review WG was formed by NC and its press
                       release have been prepared.

[Issue 1] In the middle of press release content discussion,
the following concern was delivered however it has not been
reflected in the press release properly.

"The very given time is too challenging to achieve its true-sense
Review process based upon the previous working groups' experience."

Dec. 23 - 26 : The press release was announced through
icann-announce list on Dec. 23 and WG members
had its brief and informal introduction session.

Since this is announced through icann-announce list, it is noted
there appears that a great number of members who want to subscribe to
Review WG are "At-Large Members" - which should be clarified later -
who wish to be updated on DNSO in general and its background.

[Issue 2] In the terms of reference which was circulated on Dec 23,
only GA and 7 constituencies members can be on the WG.
At-Large members can be invited, though.

[Issue 3] It is too short to update those who are willing to particiapte
in this WG with limited exposure to DNSO/ICANN in general
which was one of critical reasons this review process has been needed.

Dec. 27 - Jan 15: WG Discussion and (Interim) Report.

    - "Charter Discussion" formalization.
    - Timeframe issue - whether this group needs more time?.

[Issue 4] If I remind Review WG members as liaison chair from NC,
this working group has been recommended by NC to start coming up
with a full-scale recommendation paper to the NC Review Task Force's
questionaire.

[Issue 5] How to produce Review WG's consensus until Jan 15?

Thanks,
YJ
