I am doing this from North Carolina at present; Pls forgive the terseness
(16.8K modem link, I *hate* Southern Bell!).

I am that rarest of birds, an Engineer-Businessman. That is, I am trained as
an engineer, but don't think that marketers are the spawn of satan and
actually have one or two social skills of my own.

I have been involved, in the name-space feuds since 1995, when I first read
NSI's DDRP. I believe that we've taken a few steps backwards since then.

I consider myself and my company in nthe competitive root registry business.
I am not of the unified-root school of theology.
