Re: [wg-d] Timelines

Hi!

there is only one general type of comment I would like to add at this
point.

Some impasses or disagreements may actually need testing or modeling or
some other form of experimentation to be solved. In many cases this has
been done by companies pushing their products and the testing is
convincing.

However in the newr tuypes of situations these tests may not be fully
credible to some, who could be suspicious of them for bias, etc.

What does the workgroup think? Should the alternative "test and decide" be
considered?

Further, we would need to have at list a framework for deciding how such
testing is to be validated, as well as funded.

Does WG-C provide a testing ground for this idea, in turn?

Yours,

Alejandro
