possibly the go slow folk did not see 6-10 as a slow start.  historically,
1-3 was slow start, and iahc was considered kinda fast at that time.  

maybe try again with three, always a good number, and don't be too
prejudicial how the second year decision will be made.  folk are reluctant
to commit to seemingly reasonable first steps when they perceive future
steps as possibly prejudiced.

randy
