The work on the road actually is not about telephone number in domain name,
is more related to phone number portability or to place a phone call over
internet, but about to use a string of number to reach a web site the work
has been done long ago .. we call it the DNS ... we do not need more work
about it. I think as I responded to Bob that's just a political problem.

There already is extensive work about this underway in the IETF, being 
coordinated with the ITU.
