The fundimental difference between my method and hosts.txt is that hosts.txt
had to contain EVERY host you were ever going to connect with (ALL of them,
in fact). In contrast, the root-zone file only contains pointers to the TD
root servers. This is a few orders of magnitude fewer entries then a
hosts.txt file would have. It is very much scaleable.
