The statement below is not correct. The domain names themselves have been
found to be speech -- both by the courts and in our common discussion. What
else could Y_company_sucks.org be?
As domain names can be used as "mere addresses," or as product or service
identifiers, they can also be used as speech.
As Mr. Hartman has pointed out, domain names are not speech, but the content
of the website is.
In order to stay focused on the law, it would be instructive to take a look
at it from time to time, such as the recent decision in:
