Let me answer a bit for Stef. It isn't an issue of specific language as
much as it's an issue of philosophy. For example, the ORSC's proposal is
for a DNSO that is a part of the ICANN and not a stand alone entity. The
function of the DNSO, as we envision it, is to facilitate consensus, not to
create or implement policy. The membership structure is basically flat,
with no specific constituencies except for registrars and registries (who
will ultimately be called upon to implement policies). The "on the record"
voting requirements, the access to information requirements, and other
examples of open and transparent process are also quite important to ORSC.

Perhaps a better question (at least from my point of view) would be "what
specific language needs to be incorporated from the DNSO.org group to
consolodate with ORSC?" In the next few days, ORSC will be again calling
for public comment in an open process to attempt to consolodate as much of
other drafts as possible. Please participate.
