Re: vote10 by the Names Council

  1. This vote was about waiving the current NC Rules of Procedure, as published in: http://www.dnso.org/dnso/notes/20010220.NCprocedures-v4.0.html

    Solely for the purposes of the Names Council Chair election taking place on February 14, 2002, the Names Council moves to waive the provision of Section 1.1 of the Rules of Procedure for the DNSO which prohibits a retiring Names Council Chair from running for re-election for a period of one year.

    Motion moved by Caroline Chicoine, seconded by Marilyn Cade.

  3. The time for this NC vote was:

    Starting Thursday, 31 January 2002, 12:00 Paris time (11:00 UTC)

     Ending Tuesday, 05 February 2002, 23:59 your local time
    or when all 21 ballots from the NC have been received, whatever occurs first.
    The results to be published no later than Wednesday 06 February 2002, 12:00 Paris time (11:00 UTC).
