[ cf. http://www.dnso.org/dnso/notes/20010430.GAlists-over-time.html ]

30 April 2001.

Dear DNSO Members,

The New Chair and Alternate Chair to the General Assembly,
Danny Younger and Patrick Corliss, are taking over the GA challenges.

The following Specific Purposes Mailing Lists are established
for the General Assembly of the DNSO:

   1. DNSO External Relationships: ga-ext@dnso.org
   2. DNSO Internal Processes: ga-int@dnso.org
   3. Systems: ga-sys@dnso.org
   4. Competitive Roots: ga-roots@dnso.org
   5. Trade Marks and IP: ga-tm@dnso.org
   6. GA DNSO Review: ga-review@dnso.org

A mission and/or suggested agenda for each of these has been posted
to the [ga] mailing list in the past few days, originally in
http://www.dnso.org/clubpublic/ga/Arc07/msg01283.html
These have now been re-posted, with a few minor adjustments,
to the relevant list.

The GA general rules of decorum apply to these lists and are
enforced by the Lists Monitor Team.

   A. The Rules of Order for the Mailing Lists of the General
Assembly of the DNSO as adopted in November 2000 are published
      in: http://www.dnso.org/dnso/notes/2000.GA-ga-rules.html
   B. The Lists Monitor Team e-mail address is: ga-abuse@dnso.org.
   C. In order to provide a useful forum for the exchange of
information and opinion, these lists are governed by the
      following guidelines:
      1. All postings should relate to the purpose of the list and
be free from personal insults or abuse. Restrictions include:
           a. no cross posting to other lists and
           b. a daily limit of five postings per person.
      2. This is a difficult medium so please consider this list
precious and take care of it. In particular, you should:
           a. take the time to read all comments before replying
           b. allow for the possibility of misunderstanding, and
           c. respect those from a non-English speaking backgound
(do not swamp the discussion with slang or acronyms).

The General Assembly Mailing Lists are archived on the web site,
see http://www.dnso.org/archives.html.
