Subject: [council] Dot Org - Request for Proposals - DNSO comment and timeline
As agreed on the call yesterday (April 24) we are reconvening the dot org task force with a single term of reference, to make comments to the NC on the proposed RFP and to do so to allow NC to review comments for at least 5 calendar days prior to the May 13 deadline.
The task force will comprise:
"Elisabeth Porteneuve" - interim chair/facilitator to fix schedule of meetings and start comment immediately.
"Cary Karp" (Cary - trust this is OK - as you w<ere not on the call?)
The non-coms, IPC and ISP are invited to nominate one representative.
please let me know if you would like a GA representative and if so who.
If there is an alternative nomination for chair by any TF member please hold an election for chair rapidly (or agree to one candidate). Do not wait for nominations or for additional TF members before starting work. Bring new members up to speeed as they join. Please just get on with the task at hand - given the very short deadline.
