[nc-whois] The call remains at 8:00 a.m. Monday.


Folks, please do not start a separate thread on scheduling on the WHOIS
list.  By this email, I am asking you not to reopen the discussion about the
time of the call.  This discussion is becoming like spam on the WHOIS
archives, where it looks like the only work that is being done is
calendaring.  

The co chairs have discussed this again this morning.  Here's our view and
decision: 

Tony and I are working hard to manage different time zones and many
different schedules, as well as managing our role as co-chairs in support of
the work, while also doing the work, along with all of you.
Everyone is busy and trying to do their best to focus on getting the reading
and analysis done.

We need  everyone's cooperation and flexibility. 
Remember other people have had to change their schedules.

The call will remain at 8:00 a.m. Monday.  Tony and I will present a
possible calendar of options for dates/times at the end of the call.
Calendaring can not become the full time work of the task force. We will ask
for feedback on availability on-line, following the call, to avoid that.

We appreciate your cooperation and flexibility.

All - Last time we had a call (I realize it was now months ago), most of us
agreed that 8:30am was much better. So, I'm posing the question for everyone
- what works best, 8am or 8:30am?  (If 8am is better for the majority, so be
it.  But if not, then there is no good reason not to change it).  Thanks.

Miriam, we are unable to move the call.  I know we are all time challenged.
We really don't want to start over on scheduling. It is taking too much time
away from the work of the TF.  Can you brief one of your "assistants" from
your constituency to take good notes for you until you are able to join at
8:30 a.m?

Several  other people have already changed their schedule to start the call
at 8:00 a.m.  Tim Denton is talking to me and Tony  at a separate time since
he isn't available at that time... 

It's tough for all, given how busy we are.
