RE: [nc-whois] gTLD Representatives on NC Whois Task Force

Actually, Miriam, I was completely aware of the situation and was offering
Ram and Karen to assist with the work of the Task Force as the Task Force
sees fit. If that is just helping with the surveys and observing the
activities of the Task Force, that is fine.

My goal as the new gTLD Chair is to offer cooperation and assistance with
all of the Task Forces within the NC and to see how we, the Registry
Constituency, can help to move the important work of each of the Task Forces
along. There is a lot of beneficial work that we can do for the Global
Internet community and we look forward to assisting in any way possible.

Paul, thanks for your clarification.

Sorry Paul - Jeff was unaware of the situation (he recently became chair of
our constituency and we have not yet had a chance to catch up on this
issue). MS

Thanks Jeff

Just to clarify...... the Task Force is not looking to expand its membership
....

Some TF representatives want to share the WHOIS data with up to two
constituency
members to assist them assimilate the information gathered during the
survey.
Thus Karen Elizaga and Rom Mohan are welcome to assist Miriam the Registry
Representative (and possibly observe online discussion of the TF), but the
Task
Force itself is not looking to expand....
The TF needs to stay focused on drafting the interim report which will be
subject to peer review. Some Constituencies will not be calling upon the
services of other members at this stage but the Registry Constituency is
free to
do so if it so desires.

Hope this clarifies....

Best

Paul
