The following constitutes the IPC position with respect to Verisign's
proposed WLS:

1.	IPC has no objection to roll-out of WLS once the redemption grace
period (RGP) is implemented.  

2.	We would like more details on the "interim RGP" that Verisign has
promised to implement in .com/net in  connection with WLS (if approved),
prior to implementation of the full  RGP across all registries.  If
this is really the functional and operational equivalent of the full RGP
then it satisfies condition in #1, above.

3.	The IPC position on WLS is without prejudice to its position that a
uniform transfers and deletion policy is needed, but reflects the views that
the IPC would like communicated to the Board by the July 26 deadline (since
it is known that a uniform policy cannot be completed by then).
