[icann-nominations] Statement of support for nomination as DNSO - ICANN Director

deviations from the required format or style:

This is to support the nomination of Naomasa MARUYAMA as a candidate for 
ICANN Director, from the DNSO.  Maruyama-san has been active in pursuing 
open discussion and early progress in the enhancement of IANA-related 
services.  I first met him when he organized an information session in 
Tokyo, two years ago.  His role in JPNic means that he has the sort of 
direct experience with real IANA-related functions that ICANN so 
desperately needs.  His views, therefore, come from experience rather than 
unencumbered idealism.
