    I am writing in support of the nomination of Donald N. Telage to the ICANN 
Board.  Telage is as knowledgeable about the workings of the domain
name system 
as anyone I know, as open-minded as anyone in this entire debate, and I have 
always found his positions on the issues to be thoughtful and
well-reasoned.  I know 
that he is deeply committed to maintaining openness and transparency in
the Board's 
operations.  I think ICANN would benefit greatly from his participation.
