Dear ICANN: I am writing to support James Love of the Consumer Project on
Technology. I have worked with Jamie (99% via email) for 3 or 4 years on
intellectual property policy. While my work is in the area of agricultural
biotechnologies primarily, I have monitored Jamie's email lists regarding
the impacts of IP in the pharmaceutical sector and participated in several
international conferences to this effect. 

I can vouch, therefore, to the following superb qualifications Jamie brings
to his work:
1) commitment, thoroughness, attention to detail
2) communications skills enabling others to understand arcane, technical
and highly nuanced issues
3) organizing talent, bringing diverse interests to the table
4) belief in the public interest

Probably there are other aspects that would recommend Jamie for the
position at hand, but perhaps this will suffice for now. Thank you for the
opportunity to register my opinion. I trust you will make an excellent
selection.
