  Very good points here George to Bret's comments/remarks.
Well done!

  As you know George, as do many others, the ICANN BoD
and staff from almost the beginning have tried to deny their
responsibilities
under the MoU and the White Paper.  So one should not be too
surprised that the ICANN BoD and staff, needing funding, are
willing to fudge wherever they can.  This makes WLS attractive
in many respects, some obvious, some not so obvious.
