How can there still be debate so many years into the process on "who are
the stakeholders"?  It's obvious that at teh very least all domain name
registrants are 'stakeholders' under even the most restrictive
definition, since they are directly and personally effected by ICANN's
decisions (e.g. the UDRP).

That you still question this calls a great deal into doubt.  

So, the question remains (after a manipulated and thus pointless TF on
strucutre): is there any value to the current NC?  Do pronnouncements of a
gerrymandered body, chaired by a person who remains in office only because
the rules were manipulated to allow a domanant faction to keep control
warrant our attention?

I believe there is a suicidal tendancy in the current NC to think these
questions can be swept under the rug.
