On the assumption you are resigning (which opening nominations for
your job implies) I would like to thank you for all the effort you
have put into the job.

I've not always agreed with your rather blunt methods but I have
appreciated the passion and dedication you brought to the job and your
willingness to confront those who you believe are acting wrongly.
