Re: [ga] Austerity measures


"Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely." But that kind
of situation has never been solved by walking away. It is only the tendency
to do so that permits that kind of thing to continue.  But neither the U.S.
nor the State of California nor ICANN are an Iraq -- there an objector
to the power structure will most surely get killed; here, that is not the case.
However much some may belittle the world wide rise in democracy over
the last decade or so, it has still occurred, but only through the concerted
efforts of dedicated people.
