Re: [ga-roots] Alt Roots in NZ

Dave and all,

What is even more odd is that I am able through my ISP to
resolve USA , EARTH. and Z, which are ADNS.net's TLD's
with no modifications of any kind.... So I am wondering if
some of the ISP's to which you refer are being completely
honest...

Also as you know, New.net has agreements with a number of the
largest ISP's to add their TLD's to their name servers. This seems
to work pretty well if you are a customer of those ISP's. In that
four of those ISP are amongst the largest (Est. 27% of global user base),
it would seem that what ADNS was requesting was not all that
unfamiliar. It may be that they went about it in a way that was not
very professional to some ISP's. But in that the ISP competition,
especially the small regional ones, is so intense now, that any
new innovative business factor is helpful to their bottom line....

BTW, the archives reference you provided doesn't give a
specific reference... ????
