You say that as if it is fact.

I seriously doubt it will EVER be fact, based on prior performance,
and the fact that none of the alt.roots seem to be willing or able to
do what it takes to be commercially viable entities.

Don't count on it, Chris. If I had a $1 for every "killer app" idea
I've heard from the alt.root community, which never materializes, I'd
be able to afford that trip take recently by a man named Tito.

ICANN has a current process and policy, that does not include any
expansion of rights from alternative roots to the root that ICANN
Effectively controls. This makes ICANN's root a unique root.

Under ICANN's current process, there are no conflicts.

What rights exist to TLD operators in alternative roots/namespaces
exists ONLY in those roots and namespaces. It does not extend
further.

ICANN recognizes this.

BTW, since you indicated that you didn't want to receive private email
from me, I'm assuming you meant to send your response to the list
(something you failed to do also the last time you complained about me
email you privately, but later corrected by reposting the comment to
the list), so I've CC'd my response there assuming you made the same
mistake again.

You are free to repost your comment there.
