Re: [ga] ICANN vs. Reality

Allan and all assembly members,

Allan, I am sorry that you seem to be so overly excited and cannot
adequately grasp the concept of the difference between a Domain
in the DNS and a TLD... I recognize that when you speak or write
here about either, you seem to refer to a Domain as though it was
the same thing as a TLD. It is not of course. Domain's are
a subset of a TLD Name Space ergo for instance; .COM, a gTLD
and Allan.com, a Domain Name in the .COM gTLD Name space...
So when using the nomenclature, please try to use it correctly every
time. In that way you will not be misunderstood, or make a misstatement.

It appears very clear, as I have unfortunately had to correct you now
several times, that you either do not understand the difference between
a "Domain" and a "TLD" or "TLD Name Space" and their relationship.
This however is basic to DNS in it's current legacy higharcial structure.

Or you are just continually make comments and juxtaposing Domain
with TLD's and assuming that the reader knows what you actually
mean and/or purposfully confusing the reader. However without
being clear, you cannot adequately converse using improper
references or juxtaposing... Hence you end up frustrated, as
your response below clearly shows...

I realize that anyone pointing this out directly to you in a public
exchange which you now seem to wish to avoid now, for obvious reasons,
is seemingly demeaning to you. It should not be. Rather, take it
as a correction so as to help you to be better and more accurately
comprehended in your discourse...
