.org is also the home of the vast majority of open source projects, while
the developers may be loosely organized and most likely not for profit
they are an important segment that should not be ignored, open source is
the roots in the grass roots of this network.

almost every aspect of delivering this note to you used an open source
application to get it into your mail box.
