Re: [ga] UDRP Task Force Member

Danny,

I very much appreciate your position here and actually find no problem in your
method. Between the ten of us we can fight it out and probably end up with the
same person and you have not excluded anyone from the process and if we are
deadlocked we can vote through our group and that will work. This issue has been
beaten until dead and then shot four or five times. Overall the GA is very much
opposed to reverse hijacking and considers the UDRP as extra judiciary and
illigitimate which it is. So all we have to do is find someone who supports
that position and will take the danged job and we got it made.

It appears that Namecritic is a front runner and that reflects our feelings but
of course with any consensus body we will have some who just are adamant that
someone who will not force our agenda should be the person and then they will
attack the legitimacy from the bottom and someone from the top will use it to
cast doubt and ignore what our dude or dudette says. So let us do it this way.

But really cost as a reason not to have a vote means we cannot afford to fulfill
our function and that is the BoDs' intention.

Sincerely,
Eric
