Re: [ga] Austerity measures

Phillip:

That's the issue. There's no such administrative time/costs with the
creation and maintenance of 1, 2, 100, 1000, 1million mailing lists if you
wish (if not, people as e-group wouldn't offer mailing lists for free)

As I expressed in my previous e-mail posted in the names council list,
all the steps taken by Elizabet are not really necesary be perfomed by her
or AFNIC. I think that things can be really simplified. I know
Elizabeth works in a voluntariy basis regarding mailing list. But also a
technical staff in AFNIC is payed with the money of DNSO and they earns a
lot of money for a job that shouldn't cost that much (unless they want to
profit 10000% of the costs operations with DNSO money). And now you
talk about "reduce" something that doesn't involve such administrative
costs that Elizabeth and AFNIC is claiming?

Or it is happening that someone is creating extra steps to then claiming
that the job is huge and so complicated and so expensive of perfom?

Best Regards
Vany
