Respectfully I disagree with you here Roeland.

The problem with all this mess started some time ago when the current
list rules were imposed. They were not voted upon legitimately as you well
know. I am sorry that I must again bring this up but it is important in order
to solve this sort of problem. M. Foomkin and Joanna, today as well as few
others last week also made not of this in various posts. As such, this problem
must be solved before individual incidences can be properly addressed.

Although the tenor of WXW's posting of a private E-Mail was border line
inappropriate, it was none the less essentially accurate. Which is more
important, is what each of us should be asking ourselves. Patrick
posted a nicely worded threat to WXW, to which WXW took exception
with, although possibly in too strong of a manner and in in very threatening
way. However Patrick goaded him and as the Co-Chair he should not
have don that in that manner in a private or public post. As you know
very well Roeland, Patrick Corliss has a history of doing this sort of
thing. You have said that to me yourself on the phone on more than
one occasion. This is one of several reasons why I opposed him for
Chair or Co-Chair for the DNSO GA.

ALthough I appreciate this suggestion, it is too little and really too late...

Some progress is being made yes, but possibly in directions that the Co-Chair
is having problems with given the total context of his recent posts. Possibly
this lead to this altercation? I think so...
