The agenda will
consist of:
(1) Brief Update on
recent Board decisions regarding Transfers policy and WHOIS
Policy
(2) Update on
response to WIPO II recommendations regarding country names and non-governmental
organisations
(3) Update on policy
development regarding practices for deleting gtlds
(4) ICANN Staff
Managers report on UDRP (dispute resolution) for gtld domain
names
(5) Update on GNSO
response to ICANN Board on the introduction of new gtlds
(6) Update on the
GNSO WHOIS Privacy steering group
The objective of the
meeting will be to bring the members of the GAC gtld working group up to date
with current policy issues before the GNSO, and to provide a forum for brief
discussion of the issues. Most of the topics above are work in
progress.
