[council] Conclusions of gTLDs committee 6 Feb 2003
Please find attached an updated explanation of the terms of
reference for the Council gTLDs committee and draft conclusions from the first
meeting of the committee. All comments most welcome.
Constituencies are reminded that they should post their
statements to the committee no later than 1st March. These statements need not
be final positions, but a set of proposals (complete or partial) for the
future vision of the gTLD name space. I hope that the committee can work towards
a unified proposal that will be endorsed by all constituencies.
The next telephone conference of the committee is scheduled
for 14.00 UTC 6 March 2003. Details will be posted nearer the time.
