RE: [council] Schedule for the rounds of Convention Style Voting

Is this procedure set in stone? I was hoping to have written statements
from each of the candidates as well as a chance to have my constituency meet
(at least virtually) with some of the candidates prior to voting. Plus, to
be honest, I am not too familiar with this convention style voting. If this
is the way it has been done in the past, please forgive my questioning as I
am new to the group (and a Board election has not occurred since
Montevideo).

I therefore would propose that we be given at least a full week prior to the
closing of the first round in order to avoid a rushed voting schedule.

Thanks.

Jeff
