[council] Deletions & the transfer task force

Philip...

I recently viewed this message and it is not my recollection that ALL delete issues were delegated to this TF.. I do recall that the redemption & grace proposal was delegated there but this does not provide a mandate for this TF to handle all issues regarding deletes brought before the DNSO.

I am quite concerned that there should be a balance here and feel that the delete issues which need to be addressed may very well involve issues well beyond the current scope of the transfers TF.

I personally do not feel that this TF should become the default repository for all future domain name issues.

Subject: [nc-transfer] Transfers task force and the NC expectations
Jeff,
it is not the intent of the NC to overburden any one TF.
However, it was the intent of the NC to refer all the questions asked of it on transfers and deletes to the Transfers TF.

If the TF task force as a whole feels this burden is too great it should say so to the NC.
If the problem is simply one of workload, there is no problem (as in any TF) in your constituency replacing you with another person to provide input on deletes, when the TF moves to that topic.
