 Dear Council Members,

As was proposed by Ken Stubbs and seconded by J. Scott Evans during the
teleconference call 14 February, 2002.

The nomination period for the position of Names Council Chair for the next
six month period be opened today, 14 February, until 24:00 UTC, 20 February.
The current Names Council Chair shall be instructed to call a teleconference
no later than March 1 to vote.

Nominations for the position of Names Council Chair are now formally open.
