RE: [council] Webcasting the DNSO sessions

Danny:

The "offer" from Pacific root was to provide some part of the services
that would, in fact, require hiring and contracting for camera crews, on
site services, and more.

In fact, I would estimate that the "live television" approach budget
would be on the order of US $ 25,000 to 50,000 for the services they
were NOT donating.

So, their offer was actually an offer for us to have the opportunitity
to spend more money.

Your e-mail makes it sound like pacific was offerring to FUND the
webcast, and the offer was refused.

Be careful what you say, Danny.

Philip,

Members of the General Assembly have so far put forth two offers for
sponsorship (one from new.net, the other from PacificRoot). Both have
been
rejected. In the event that you fail to secure a sponsor for webcasting
the
DNSO sessions, will the DNSO cover these expenses and pay the folks at
Berkman for their efforts?

regards,
Danny
