[council] The relations between DNSO and ASO?

Hello council members,

Let me update and make a suggestion on the relations between 
Names Council and Address Council.

There was a Address Council Workshop in Brisbane on 28 and 29 
- invitation only workshop - after APNIC meeting where I attended 
as an informal observer from Names Council on 28 morning session.
The main discussion focuesd on the AC roles and global policy vs 
regional policy issues.

As I noted in the DNSO review paper, there should be more 
communications among SOs since many issues are co-related
and need collaborative advices from different SOs. 

We also have to remind that even the role of NC is not clearly 
defined yet, either. We are still in the situations where every NC
member has his/her own understanding on the roles which seems 
to be changeable according to diverse situations.

It was first questioned to me by Wilfried Woeber prior to workshop
whether this would be a precedent for our continous mutual efforts 
between DNSO and ASO or one-time case.

As one of DNSO review committee member as well as one who
suggested more communications among SOs be desirable, I explicitedly
noted it is within the capacity of DNSO review committee which covers
the co-relations between DNSO and ASO.

I therefore express here that I want to carry on this responsibility
as a member of DNSO review committee and a short report will
be distributed soon based upon its minutes.
