Re: [council] ICANN-LA DNSO Content to be Webcasted

Just a couple of comments. I trust Ben's assertion that the cost of the
service provided by the Berkman Center is well below that of
commercial webcasters, so if we are pressed for cutting costs down
we may have to look into ways of doing a poor man's webcasting.

This may mean doing without video, to begin with. I watched the webcasting
of the Berlin meeting, and I was unconvinced that a blurry image of
Amadeu speaking added much to the overall information content.

In case we were really poor, I should point out that since webcasting the
audio of our teleconferences costs $100/hour (compared to the estimate of
$1350/hour for the LA meeting), we could just feed the audio from the
meeting room via telephone to the Berman Center, to be encoded and
webcasted remotely by them.
